Veteran Baute cannot praise the Hines Center and its staff enough, but found training in handling loss to be missing in the VA curriculum. When he found resilience training programs in all branches of the active U.S. Military, he set out to provide a guidebook, using each chapter of his life struggles as a lesson in resilience.
